Warriors Fans Don't Like The Trade Idea Of Kevin Durant For Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, And Other Assets

When Kevin Durant left the Golden State Warriors in 2019 and headed to the Brooklyn Nets, it seemed like he might have jumped ship at the right time. The Warriors would be ravaged by injuries for the next two seasons, which led to them missing the playoffs, and the dynasty seemed to have ended once and for all. All that changed this season, however.

Andrew Wiggins Says He Was Happy To Make His Doubters "Kick Rocks": "When I First Got Here, Everyone Had Something To Say, Now Everyone Is Quiet."

Andrew Wiggins has come a long way since his time with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was once viewed as a disappointing player that never quite put it together in Minnesota, but ever since he moved to the Golden State Warriors, he has become an efficient two-way wing. He was crucial in the Warriors getting to the Finals and winning the championship.

Kevin Durant fires back at media narrative pitting him against Stephen Curry, Warriors

Kevin Durant is just tired of people and the media lying on his name, especially when it comes to how he feels about the Golden State Warriors. Before and after the Warriors won the 2022 NBA Finals, a lot of talk has been about KD and how the Dubs didn’t need him to win. Some even went as far as to saying that Golden State’s title win has a negative impact on his legacy since, for them, it basically proves he was a “bus rider” during their championship runs together.

Kevin Durant's post-Warriors vision has gone wildly awry in Brooklyn, but hindsight is always 20-20

Suffice it to say, things have not gone as Kevin Durant planned in Brooklyn. Three years, seven playoff wins and one series victory. The only team to be swept out of the 2022 playoffs. James Harden was injured and out of shape and generally a shell of his former self before forcing a trade. Kyrie Irving appears to be on the cusp of a relocation. Durant, who is basically backed into a corner now, is reportedly mulling his own future with the Nets.

Andrew Wiggins Sends A Message To His Haters: "Holding A Grudge And I’m Taking It Far"

Andrew Wiggins silenced a lot of his naysayers this past season as he played a big role in the Golden State Warriors becoming NBA champions once again. Looked down upon at one point as somewhat of a disappointment of a number 1 pick from the 2014 draft, Wiggins was written off by many during his time with the Timberwolves as a guy who doesn’t contribute to winning.

Amid a storm of draft pick trades, Warriors stay put and take a big swing

So much for the Golden State Warriors trading out of the 2022 NBA Draft to save money. With trades swirling all around them at the end of the first round, the Warriors kept their No. 28 pick and took a big swing on University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee forward Patrick Baldwin Jr. Baldwin, aka “PBJ,” was a former top prospect whose stock fell after a disastrous freshman year in college and a lackluster combine, but the Warriors decided to bet on his potential. In the second round, rather than selling or trading their picks, they actually moved up to nab another mid-major player, Toledo point guard Ryan Rollins, and then drafted a Brazilian forward, Gui Santos, who’s unlikely to come to the NBA this year.

The Cavs shouldn’t be satisfied with what they did this season

Going into the 2022 season, there were probably very few people who were predicting the Cleveland Cavaliers to qualify for the play-in tournament, let alone be in a position to make the actual NBA Playoffs. As the season progressed, however, the Cavs looked poised to qualify for the playoffs where they most likely would’ve matched up with their new rival, the Philadelphia 76ers.
