Woman Who Ran Out of Gas Struck and Killed on I-84 Near Boise

BOISE, Idaho (KLIX)-A woman who ran out of gas in her SUV along the interstate east of Boise was struck and killed late Wednesday night. Kala Blush, 54, was on Interstate 84 about six miles east of Boise when she was hit by a newer GMC pickup driven by David McZegle, 60, of Tuttle, Oklahoma at just before midnight, according to Idaho State Police. Blush, of Boise, had ran out of fuel in her Ford Explorer and was pulled to the side of the road when she entered the lane of travel on foot, according to ISP.

Road rage led to shooting outside Gresham Walmart, court documents say

PORTLAND, Ore. — A road rage incident appears to have led to a fatal shooting in the Gresham Walmart parking lot Monday evening. According to court documents obtained by KGW, suspect Daniel Hipshman, 26, was driving a white pickup truck when a GMC Yukon SUV driven by Dashawn Hudson, 38 cut him off on Southeast Powell Boulevard. Hudson's wife and four kids were in the vehicle at the time.

Police are on the lookout for a black GMC Acadia with no license plates that sped away from a traffic stop attempt in Columbia at about 2 p.m. Wednesday. The SUV featured red spray-painted bumpers and wheels and had passenger side damage, police described. The driver was a White male wearing a ballcap.

Warrants issued for three men wanted in Española kidnapping

New Mexico State Police issued arrest warrants for three people accused of kidnapping and threatening to kill a man last week in Rio Arriba County. State police are searching for Lucas Naranjo, 40; Aspen Newman, 27; and Nicholas “Troubles” Gonzales, 32, after a man said he was kidnapped by the trio from a Walgreens in Española, according to a statement of probable cause filed in Rio Arriba County Magistrate Court.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - A 23-year-old man died in a single-vehicle rollover collision near the community of Klawock on Prince of Wales Island. On Tuesday morning, Keegan Bovee, of Klawock, was driving southbound in a GMC pickup truck on Boundary Road — also known as Highway 929 — toward his community, according to an online Alaska State Trooper dispatch. Around mile 5, troopers said the vehicle left the roadway for “unknown reasons,” causing it to roll over multiple times. The numerous rolls ejected Bovee out of the vehicle.

GMC Average Transaction Price Reaches $58K In August

New-vehicle average transaction prices (ATPs) are on the rise, including for GMC, which reached an ATP of $58,010 in August. According to an analysis from Kelley Blue Book, ATPs for GMC increased 1.9 percent between July of 2021 and August of 2021, rising from $56,915 to $58,0101. The ATP percentage rise was even higher for GMC between August of 2020 and August of 2021, increasing 9.4 percent when compared to ATP figures of $53,016 last year.
