Parents charged with taking their kids from a foster home in Reading

A mother and father have been charged with taking their children from a foster home in Reading early Thursday morning. Darrick Seachrist, 30, and Kayla Seachrist, 28, of Lancaster County were charged with interfering with the custody of children and corruption of minors, according to police. A municipality of residence was not provided.

Oklahoma dog needs foster home after spending over 200 days at rescue

OKLAHOMA CITY — An Oklahoma rescue group is hoping to find a foster home for a dog that has spent more than 200 days with them, waiting to be adopted. According to the Bella SPCA Rescue Center, Sophie has been with them for 220 days waiting to find her forever home, and time and time again, she is overlooked. Recently, officials with the rescue said Sophie cut her leg, possibly while jumping in the yard and accidentally hitting something.
