Man wins $300,000 lottery prize while waiting at drive-through

Jan. 18 (UPI) -- A South Carolina man said he left a fast food drive-through line without placing an order when he discovered he had won a $300,000 lottery prize. The Anderson man told South Carolina Education Lottery officials he was waiting in a long drive-through line when he decided to scratch off a lottery ticket he had purchased earlier from the Expressway #25 store in Anderson.

Pascagoula church hosts county-wide food drive

Raising Holiday Cheer at Awty

‘Tis the season for giving back! For the 2021 holiday season, The Awty International School’s Middle School Student Council collected and packed just over 50 boxes of food for the ABC 13 food drive. All of the food was donated to benefit the Houston Food Bank. ABC 13’s Share Your Holidays Food Drive, now in its 41st year, is an annual event benefiting the Houston Food Bank.
