Quentin Tarantino Would Consider a First Blood Remake with Adam Driver as Rambo

While it will almost certainly never happen, Quentin Tarantino has expressed some interest in a First Blood remake. Yes, Tarantino has a pitch for the Rambo franchise and it would involve making a much more faithful adaptation to the original novel that birthed the Sylvester Stallone franchise. Tarantino even has actors in mind, with Adam Driver (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Marriage Story) taking over as John Rambo and Kurt Russell (The Thing, The Hateful Eight) on board as Sheriff Teasle.

July blood drive in Blythe exceeds expectations: LifeStream event collects 38 pints, to potentially help over 100 people

On July 20, LifeStream’s area blood drive – conducted at the Blythe Doris Morgan Community Center – saw 38 pints collected from participating donors. “The drive collected 38 pints of blood, exceeding projection,” stated LifeStream Public Relations Specialist Don Escalante to the Times. “Those who generously participated will potentially assist 100 or more patients. LifeStream is most appreciative of the commitment shown by Blythe-area residents to the cause of voluntary blood donation.”

In First Blood, he was introduced as a traumatized Vietnam vet who wages a misguided war on a small town. The 2nd and 3rd films put much more of an emphasis on explosions and firepower.
