• Linda S. Craig, 40, 1445 12th Ave. South, pleaded guilty Sept. 29 to one count of assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor. District Associate Judge Kimberly Shepherd on Sept. 29 filed an order granting deferred judgment. The Court deferred judgment for one year. An $855 civil penalty was imposed. She was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. She was accused July 20 by the Clinton Police Department.

The Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District announced that Sheldon Fine Art, a mainstay in downtown Naples for nearly 20 years, has moved to a new location along the historic Main Street. Now located at 659 Fifth Ave. S., the gallery is less than two blocks down from its prior home along the Avenue.

Bi-Mart pharmacies, including original Yakima location pharmacy, to close

Bi-Mart will close 56 remaining pharmacies in its Idaho, Oregon and Washington stores — including the pharmacy in its very first store on Fifth Avenue in Yakima. The company informed its customers earlier this month that increasing costs and fees have made it unfeasible to continue to operate its pharmacies profitably, and Bi-Mart worked out an agreement with Walgreens to move its pharmacy, patient files and inventory there.
