Lowell man arrested in alleged highway road rage incident

BILLERICA — State Police arrested a 22-year-old Lowell man on Tuesday after he allegedly pointed a gun at a driver on Interstate 95 in a road rage incident. According to State Police, Javier Lopez, of Lowell, was driving northbound on I-95 in Lexington and pointed a pistol outside of his red Ford Focus. The driver of the vehicle Lopez allegedly pointed the weapon at called 911 shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
