Loveland Police: Timothy Sourp Arrested For Hitting & Killing A Woman In Store Parking Lot

LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) – Fort Collins police arrested Timothy Sourp, 41, after they say he hit a woman with a vehicle in shopping center parking lot. Officers responded to the Orchards Shopping Center on 29th Avenue on Friday night. The woman was taken to a hospital where she later died. Timothy Sourp (credit: CBS) Investigators say Sourp faces charges including vehicular homicide, possession of a weapon by a previous offender and domestic violence. He is now in jail in Larimer County. Sourp previous arrests date back to 2002. Many charges in which he was convicted of include child abuse, burglary, assault, drug possession and DUI. Teen girl killed in suspected DUI crash

OCEANSIDE, Calif. — A teenage girl was killed in a fiery, three-car crash late Friday, and police suspect the man who caused the collision of DUI. The crash happened just after 11 p.m. on El Camino Real in Oceanside. As a driver headed south on the street near Fire Mountain Drive, he crossed over the center median, hit a fire hydrant and continued on into oncoming traffic, according to Oceanside Police Department.

Man struck and killed in Phoenix; suspected impaired driver arrested

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- A man was struck and killed while crossing a west Phoenix street Saturday afternoon. According to Phoenix police, officers responded to the area of 43rd Avenue and Butler Drive, which is just north of Northern Avenue, around 2 p.m. for reports that a man was struck while cross the street. Police say a vehicle was speeding north on 43rd Avenue when it struck the pedestrian, who was in a marked crosswalk. Phoenix fire crews responded and pronounced the man dead. The man's name has not been released.

Villager’s son gets break in DUI case after crashing in roundabout near Brownwood

A Villager’s adult son got a break in a drunk driving case after crashing a car earlier this year in a roundabout. Stephen Paul Graf, 53, who lives with his mother at 1578 Long Loop in the Village of Hillsborough, earlier this month in Sumter County Court pleaded no contest to a charge of reckless driving, reduced from an original charge of driving under the influence. He paid $688.50 in fines and court costs.

Man arrested after fleeing a traffic stop while drunk

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - An Alachua man is in jail after attempting to flee a traffic stop while he was drunk. 68 year old Oscar Green was pulled over after veering into the middle lane on Northwest 78th Avenue in the city of Alachua by Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies. Deputies say Green fled the traffic stop then began driving reckless eluding deputies while hitting multiple mail boxes, a tree, and almost crashing head on with another vehicle.
