Four People Arrested On Drug Charges Following Harassment Complaint

Palo Alto County, IA (KICD) — Four people were arrested on drug charges following an investigation into a harassment report. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says they were dispatched to the 900 block of Inman Street in mallard. As a result of an investigation, police arrested four people, including 48-year-old Jason Langschwager. They charged him with possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense – meth, possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense – marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, harassment 3rd degree, and driving with a suspended license.

Man arrested outside hotel with 68 pounds of meth in his vehicle

PORT ALLEN - Deputies arrested a man outside a West Baton Rouge hotel after they found nearly 70 pounds of illegal drugs in his vehicle. The West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office said deputies questioned Douglas Strong in the parking lot of the Quality Inn on N Lobdell Highway on July 23. Deputies said they performed a probable cause search on Strong's vehicle and found 68 pounds of methamphetamine inside.

Two Austin men were arrested Friday morning in Fayette County on drug and weapon charges. Fayette County deputies stopped a Hyundai passenger car on Highway 71 westbound near Zapalac Road, west of Ellinger, for a traffic violation. The vehicle was occupied by two male passengers and a female driver, who admitted to having drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
