PORTLAND, Ore. — A Vancouver man is in custody, accused of setting fires to cars and property in downtown Portland last August. According to the indictment, 45-year-old Pavel Shved set fires to a building at 420 NW 11th Avenue , a parking garage at 730 SW 10th Avenue and a parking garage at 121 SW 4th Avenue on August 4 and August 5, 2020.

Police identify man killed in downtown Portland stabbing

Portland police publicly identified a 37-year-old man who died Saturday morning after being stabbed in downtown Portland. An ambulance crew found Quinton Bryce Miller of Portland lying wounded in the street at Southwest Third Avenue and Pine Street about 12:45 a.m., Portland police said in a statement. Miller appeared seriously hurt, and the crew took him to a hospital where he later died.

Court docs: Man charged with arson for vehicle, parking garage fires in downtown Portland

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) - A 45-year-old man has been indicted for several charges including arson in connection with fires that were set in downtown Portland last August. According to an indictment filed in March, Pavel Pethrov Shved is facing three counts of first-degree arson, five counts of second-degree arson, and eight counts of first-degree criminal mischief. He was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on Monday afternoon and is scheduled to be arraigned on those charges Tuesday.
