AWAY: The Survival Series is Biomutant as a sugar glider

One of the most incredible animal facts I’ve heard is the curious digestive systems of frogs: they physically cannot vomit, but if they had to, they’ll need to regurgitate the contents of their entire stomach out, like an emptied pocket. Fascinating animal behaviour like these are aplenty in nature, which is why it’s such a marvel that, until AWAY: The Survival Series, there aren’t a lot of games that have translated these quirks of nature and the ecosystem around us in a more interactive format.

“Discovering Jefferson County” Documentary Series Explores County’s History

WPBS is pleased to announce the release of a new four-part documentary series that explores the history of Jefferson County. “Discovering Jefferson County,” takes viewers back in time to when the towns and villages of Jefferson County were explored, settled, and economically established. Early colonial settlers of the North Country were drawn to the area because of its vast forests, plentiful wild game and fish, and accessible waterways. They saw it as an untouched gem. As word spread about the useful lands and waterways, more and more pioneers found their way to the Northern edge of New York State to establish the many towns and villages that are still historic in so many ways today.

7 great song and artist documentaries to rock out to

There may be as many kinds of music documentaries as there are genres of music. Recent years have brought a batch of vanity-project concert films that include this year’s “Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry” and “Pink: All I Know So Far.” There are exceptions, such as Beyonce’s “Homecoming,” but these tend to be the least interesting docs, alternating between glossy performance footage and fan gushage.
