Today the publisher announced Earth-Prime, a three-month, six-issue miniseries that will feature in-continuity stories set in the world of the Arrowverse. 10 DC Comics That Would Be Perfect For HBO Max

The live-action DC universe is continuing to grow, with a number of films and television series inspired by the publisher's comic characters. While the film and TV universes have largely been separate over the years, Warner Bros. has recently made a more concerted effort to bridge those gaps, with movies and shows headed to the HBO Max streaming service. Fans have already gotten a bit off an inkling of what all that can entail, with the Peacemaker television series premiering to great fanfare earlier this month, as well as the first official look at the streaming service's Batgirl movie.

Harley Quinn Season 3: Release date, when and how to watch

What is the Harley Quinn Season 3 release date? The next season of the Harley Quinn animated series got a big trailer at DC Fandome in October but it was filled with placeholder animation that suggested it was nowhere near finished, despite Season 2 having concluded in 2020. So when will Season 3 actually show up? Here’s everything that’s known about the Harley Quinn Season 3 start date and how to watch it.

BatChat With Matt & Will Episode 18: Night of the Huntress

Continuity is a cruel mistress. DC’s ever rebooting universe has meant most characters have at least two completely distinct histories. And amongst the Batfamily, no character’s two histories are more different than the Huntress. Introduced as the daughter of the Batman and Catwoman of Earth-2, Crisis on Infinite Earths wiped out the alternate Earths and instead made her the daughter of mobsters who were killed by a rival family. And the New 52, well, we aren’t gonna talk about that in this episode so you’ll just have to wait for us to get there. Instead, here are three stories featuring Huntress just in time for her to step back into the Batfamily spotlight over in Detective Comics’ “Shadows of the Bat” storyline.

‘Peacemaker’ just referenced one of DC’s weirdest characters

Peacemaker continues to embrace the weirder edges of the DC universe. James Gunn typically loves to dive into the bizarre side of the comic book world, as is clear from his use of Rocket and Groot in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. Things got wild in his DC debut, The Suicide Squad, too, through the use of Starro and Weasel. While Peacemaker is more grounded than those two projects, Gunn’s continued to pay homage to the stranger corners of the comics.

Watch: ‘Peacemaker’ roasts other DC heroes in hilarious promo

HBO Max’s Peacemaker is roasting other heroes from the DC cinematic universe in a new promo. The chrome-helmeted antihero, portrayed by John Cena, first made his debut in 2021’s The Suicide Squad and is now the star of his own spinoff show helmed by James Gunn. The first three episodes debuted to high acclaim on the streaming service last week.

Supernatural's Jensen Ackles Reveals He's Currently Developing Secret DC Comics Project

Supernatural and The Boys star Jensen Ackles is gearing up for another round in the DC Universe. The actor revealed he's been secretly developing a DC Comics project with Warner Bros. Ackles made the announcement on the Inside of You With Michael Rosenbaum podcast. During Rosenbaum and Ackles' conversation, the former Smallville actor asked Ackles what would be the one Marvel or DC movie role he'd love to do. Ackles responded with the small tease for his secret DC property, though he of course didn't offer any clues as to what the project could be, or if it's a feature film or television role.
