Police: Falling pipe kills construction worker in Redding, OSHA investigating

REDDING — The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating after a construction worker was struck and killed by a falling pipe Thursday afternoon. Police, fire and paramedic units were called to a residence on Route 107 around 5 p.m. for a construction worker with a head injury, Redding Police Chief Mark O’Donnell said in a news release Friday.
