While viewership number and box offices may paint a different picture, the all-pervasive Marvel Cinematic Universe isn’t for everyone. That appears to include Luke Wilson, who stars in DC’s CW series “Stargirl” as Pat Dugan, aka S.T.R.I.P.E., the stepfather to the title heroine. He’s also, of course, the brother of a certain MCU star, Owen Wilson, who plays Time Variance Authority agent Mobius in Disney+’s “Loki.”
Superman & Lois is nearing the end of its first season, but series star Tyler Hoechlin hopes to be playing the Man of Steel for a long time to come. In an interview with Men's Health about how he prepares and trains for his role as the iconic DC Comics character, Hoechlin explained that he never really saw himself as Superman, but also spoke about how he worked hard to get into shape for the role and that he wants to continue for a long time.
The last time fans saw DC's Legends of Tomorrow, John Constantine (Matt Ryan) regained magic but not necessarily the right way. His plan to have his powers restored by the Fountain of Imperium ended up not going to plan at all and instead, he ended up using a potion from a vampire, something that is much more dangerous and could have major consequences not just for Constantine but the Legends as well. However, fans will have to wait just a bit longer to see how things work out because The CW series remains on a short hiatus this week. New episodes will return on Sunday, August 8th.

Veteran producer/DJ Josh One shares some audio treats with us as he releases two instrumentals from his collaboration with super lyricist Demetrius Rhymes. The first cut “Clubber Lang (Instrumental)” is a gritty anthemic bat ripe with booming basslines, crunchy drum breaks, and sublime synths. It’s as punchy as they come and perfect for that classic bravado-laden raps we all love.

The CW has released a new poster for the season finale of Superman & Lois. The poster features the Kent family standing together, seemingly united, and with Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) as Superman, but this is no ordinary family image. Just behind them, the skies are dark and a bright red beam of light—presumably from the Eradicator or Kryptonian heat vision splits the sky as well as the sigil for the House of El. With the Kent boys on either side of this divide, it's enough to make fans wonder just what is in store in the finale.
