Hubcaps Win National Beef Cornhole Tournament

The Grand Finale National Beef Cornhole Tournament came to Broadcast Square Saturday. . There was Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting followed by an Open House at the businesses at Broadcast Square. The Hubcaps, Bryan and Skylar Hubbard won the National Beef Cornhole Final Tournament and won one thousand dollars custom cornhole boards, and a beef bundle from National Beef. Teams have been competing all summer long at tournaments throughout the area with Rocky and Ryan Baalmann being the points Champions with 181 points as they only missed 2 events.

Local Lions Club’s second annual Cornhole Tournament on Oct. 2 to raise funds for scholarships

The Breckenridge Lions Club will host its second annual Scholarship Cornhole Tournament beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Trade Barn in the Breckenridge City Park. There will be cash prizes, and proceeds will benefit local scholarships. Last year’s event enabled the organization to award four $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors.

Members of the St. Lawrence Central Class of 1988 recently gathered at the Riverview in Brasher Falls to complete a two-year cornhole tournament that began in Tampa, Fla. in 2019 and had been delayed due to Covid-19. Noblesville Lions raise $13K at dodgeball, cornhole fundraiser

On Saturday, Sept. 11, the Noblesville Lions Club held its Dodgeball and Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser. The club thanks all sponsors and other donations received to support this worthy cause. The latest information is that approximately $13,000 in initial donations were received. Funds will be used for scholarships and vision impairment financial support. The 50/50 drawing was won by Charlie McMillan, who donated his $40 prize back to the club.
