Como teen injured after tree-trimming accident

A Como-Pickton teen suffered a severe injury this week while clearing brush, and the community is coming together to fundraise for his medical costs. Kody Crump, 17, suffered an accident on Nov. 29 while tree-trimming, according to community members. He was taken to Parkland Hospital in Dallas, where he later underwent surgery for a spinal injury.

The Missouri Tigers and head coach Eli Drinkwitz are losing an assistant coach to SMU. Mustangs new head coach Rhett Lashlee is bringing along Mizzou assistant Casey Woods, who coached the tight ends and was the recruiting coordinator for MU.
