Mineola High School Holds 130th Commencement Ceremony

The Mineola High School Class of 2021 came together on June 26 for the school’s 130th commencement ceremony, creating a sea of red and white gowns at Eisenhower Park. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, graduation was held outdoors, where seniors were joined by their family and friends on the lawn of the park, celebrating the end of an era.

South Lewis High School celebrates 58th commencement

TURIN — South Lewis High School’s 58th commencement was held Saturday, June 26. Following the processional, Matthew Liddiard presented the invocation followed by Grace Mear performing “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Senior Class President Robert Newell II gave the welcoming remarks. A technical honor address was presented by Shane Sweredoski, followed by speeches given by valedictorian Madison Munn and salutatorian Jayden Denslow. The alma mater was sung by Sophia Sabatini. The musical selection was “My Wish.” Chloe Seller, class vice president, presented the Class of 2021 gift. Remarks and commencement address where given by Superintendent Douglas Premo, after which he distributed diplomas. Chad Luther presented the graduates.
