Pizza delivery driver shoots would-be carjacker 6 times

PHILADELPHIA — An attempted carjacking suspect was taken to the hospital in critical condition after the delivery driver whose car he targeted fought back. Philadelphia police told WCAU the victim was delivering food in the city when the suspect walked up to him, threatened him with a gun and demanded his car. Police said the delivery driver then pulled out his own weapon and shot the suspect six times, WPVI reported.

Pizza Delivery Driver Shoots Attempted Carjacker Multiple Times In Kensington, Police Say

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A pizza delivery driver shot and critically injured a would-be carjacker in Kensington Thursday night, Philadelphia police say. It happened on the 3300 block of H Street around 7:40 p.m. Police say the 39-year-old delivery driver was working when he was approached by a 35-year-old man. The suspect pointed a gun at the driver and told him to give up his car. According to police, that’s when the driver pulled out a weapon and shot the suspect multiple times. Alleged carjacker, 11, faces charges in Mount Greenwood attack

An 11-year-old boy is accused of stealing a car at gunpoint from two women in the Mount Greenwood neighborhood in November, Chicago police said. The boy, who was also charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle, was identified as one of the people who took the car at gunpoint from a 36-year-old woman and a 57-year-old woman on Nov. 19 in the 11000 block of South Harding Avenue, police said in a news release.
