DeRozan, LaVine help Bulls hang on to beat Knicks 119-115

NEW YORK -- — For the Chicago Bulls, DeMar DeRozan's poise is as valuable as his points. He provided plenty of both after they blew a big lead at Madison Square Garden. DeRozan scored 34 points, Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic each added 27, and the Bulls held on for a 119-115 victory over the New York Knicks on Thursday night.

Knicks’ comeback falls short in loss to Bulls as referee woes continue

The Knicks’ frustration with the referees spilled over into the first half Thursday night at the Garden, and an ultimately failed comeback bid only added heartbreak to their list of emotions. Trailing by as many as 21 points in the second quarter — and despite a frantic defense-fueled run in...

Bulls vs. Knicks final score: Chicago blows 21-point lead before pulling out 119-115 win at MSG

Holy shit, what a basketball game. It looked like the Bulls were going to experience a brutal case of déjà vu from the Blazers game after going up 21 points in the first half on the Knicks and then blowing it. But in a frenetic finish, it was DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine coming up with the big points down the stretch, with a little bit of Alex Caruso and Lonzo Ball defense mixed in to pull out a thrilling 119-115 victory.

Game Preview: Knicks vs. Bulls- 12/02/21

The New York Knicks (11-10) lost a classic in Brooklyn on Tuesday, 112-110. In a suspiciously officiated game, that crooked vulture Scott Foster swallowed his whistle so far that his butt was trilling. I wanted Julius Randle to flip him upside down and shake it out. The Nets rank first...

Zach LaVine gets totally honest on DeMar DeRozan after Bulls narrowly escape Knicks

The Chicago Bulls carved out another hard-earned win on Thursday night after narrowly escaping the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, 119-115. The Bulls squandered a huge 21-point lead and allowed the Knicks to storm back, with the home team even taking the driver’s seat in the fourth quarter. But wingman DeMar DeRozan came through for the Bulls, scoring 18 of his 34 markers in the final frame to salvage the victory.

Knicks completely stuck in puzzling mediocrity

A quarter and change into the season, the Knicks are so-so. They are win-one, lose-won, win-two, lose-two. They are sea level. They are even Steven. They are .500. “We started slowly,” coach Tom Thibodeau said after the Knicks threw a scare into the Bulls, erased a 21-point deficit, took a late lead, then stepped aside, 119-115 — another near-miss, another close-sans-stogie, another bewildering night at the home gym in a season that is already stuffed with them.

Bulls vs. Knicks: How to watch live stream, TV channel, NBA start time

The New York Knicks are on the road but looking no worse for wear. Sitting on a score of 82-73, they have looked like the better team out there today, but there's still one more quarter to play. Point guard Kemba Walker (19 points) and shooting guard R.J. Barrett (18...

The puzzle piece Knicks’ Tom Thibodeau desperately needs

With 1:36 minutes left against the Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks power forward Julius Randle drew a technical foul, providing Kevin Durant with a chance to extend Brooklyn's lead to three points. That decision made a comeback for the Knicks even more unlikely, changing their strategy down the stretch and...
