Club sports teams embrace return to normalcy

After a year of restrictions, social distancing mandates and more, Boston University’s club sports teams are on their way back to normal. Like last year, club sports teams have been adapting and continuing to comply with University-wide mandates. Currently, the indoor mask mandate is the only major COVID-19 protocol that has remained since the spring.

COVID testing now offered to all students, regardless of symptoms

Any community member of Binghamton University who has been vaccinated and is asymptomatic can now schedule an appointment for COVID-19 testing. The news was announced via Dateline on Sept. 7. According to a Sept. 16 article by the Press & Sun-Bulletin, BU had reported 187 COVID-19 cases during the two-week period prior to the article’s release — the most in the SUNY system. As of Sept. 19, the SUNY COVID-19 tracker for BU is sitting at 150 cases.
