Laura: How are we feeling about heading back into ACC play after the bye week?. Will: I will stand by what i have said, even with Dennis Grosel BC can win the ACC. It will just won’t be easy and there are a lot of games we can lose just as easily as we can win.

Football Observations: Boston College vs Clemson ending of that game...was...umm... Ok, so where to start.... Boston College, No. 25 Clemson experiencing role reversal

In what would appear to be a complete role reversal, a struggling Clemson football team faces an undefeated Boston College team Saturday at Clemson’s Memorial Stadium. The Tigers (2-2, 1-1 ACC), who have slipped to No. 25, are coming off a 27-21 double-overtime loss at N.C. State on Saturday that marked the first time Clemson has suffered two regular-season defeats since 2014.

4 takeaways as Boston College football dominates Temple

“The way they bounced back after last week was really impressive." When Boston College lost starting quarterback Phil Jurkovec for potentially the rest of the season because of a hand injury last week against UMass, expectations from the outside took a hit and questions started to swirl about the Eagles’ ceiling.

Boston College Makes Two New Offers to '22 Recruits

Boston College football has a stacked recruiting class of '22. And with only a few slots remaining, the question has been, who are they still targeting. A few names that have been linked to Boston College including VJ Payne (Buford, GA) and Andre Roye (Baltimore, MD) have already committed elsewhere. With most names now drying up, the assumption is either that a) BC is done with the class, b) they have some quiet offers out there that we aren't aware of or c) they are trying to flip recruits to BC.

Alumni Stadium: Boston College football’s best investment

Nobody will ever confuse Boston College’s Alumni Stadium for The Big House or Death Valley. But for a long time, BC fans have probably greatly underestimated what a fantastic and foresighted investment it was by BC to both build out an on-campus stadium, and grow it along with the program as college football evolved into a national product.

Boston College Football Banter: The Great State of Massachusetts

Laura: So, what did everyone think of Grosel’s first game as starter?. Will: I know he’s not Jurkovec but he’s got to be better. He’s been around too long. Arthur: I think the problem is that right now the offense is still designed around a quarterback who can make a deep throw on a regular basis, and that isn’t Grosel. I wonder if the progression is such that he is looking for the deep ball as the primary on a number of plays, and that doesn’t make sense. I think that the coaches need to sit down and retool the offense knowing what they’ve got. Grosel is effective on mid range throws, and the offense needs to embrace that.
