Bolts fall to Sheridan, again; Face Natrona in playoffs next week

The Thunder Basin High School football team needed the magic it had earlier in the season that led to a five-game winning streak. The search for that momentum continues. The Bolts (6-3) needed to beat conference champion Sheridan (8-1) Friday night to host a playoff game in the first round. For the first time since the program’s first year, that won’t happen. The Bolts lost Friday night 28-20 to the Broncs in the regular-season finale.

The last 13 days have been eventful to say the least for Alex Barre-Boulet. The skilled 24-year-old forward was one of the final cuts of the Tampa Bay Lightning in training camp when they had to set their Opening Night roster the day before the start of the 2021-22 season.
