How can West Virginians see the Rolling Stones live?

American fans of the Rolling Stones are finally going to get some satisfaction. The legendary rock band announced this week that they are headed back on tour for a thirteen-city series of shows across the United States. The U.S. leg of the Stones’ No Filter tour has been delayed multiple times, so it is no surprise the band is ready to get back to live shows.

Countdown to Kickoff: No. 41 Owen Daffer

HEIGHT: 5-10 WEIGHT: 169 (last updated in the summer of 2020) HOMETOWN: Wilmington, N.C. SINCE COMING TO ECU: Daffer was one of the top kickers in the state of North Carolina coming out with the 2020 class and he had several regional preferred walk-on offers. But the Wilmington native decided to attend ECU as an invited walk-on in hopes of earning a scholarship in time. After enrolling last summer, Daffer learned the ropes of college football and took in the action in a redshirt year. He did not appear in any games due to the return of senior Jake Verity, who was the program's all-time leader in points scored. Daffer did manage to travel and dress out for the majority of the year as Verity's top backup, outperforming scholarship backup kicker Patrick Nations for most of the season. Daffer returned this spring and was engaged in a battle with Nations for the lead in the placekicking job to replace Verity, who's moved on to the professional ranks. The young kicker put together a solid spring and Nations ended up leaving the program with just a few practices remaining. That left Daffer as the lone kicker on the roster at the end of the spring, but he's since been replaced by several walk-on specialists that will compete with Daffer for the No. 1 kicking gig.
