Man shot in Atlantic City on Tuesday morning

ATLANTIC CITY — A city man was injured in a shooting early Tuesday morning, police said Thursday. Officers responded to the 2500 block of Camarotta Terrace at 5:03 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a shooting. They found a 57-year-old city man, who was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. Police said his injuries were not life-threatening.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Gun violence in Atlantic City struck again, this time, sending a 17-year-old girl to the hospital with a gunshot wound. The Atlantic City Police Department announces the arrest of two juvenile males in the shooting of teenage girl. On October 18, 2021 at 3:57 pm, patrol officers responded to the 700 block of Ohio Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert. Arriving officers located a shooting victim, 17, of Atlantic City. The victim was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, with a non-life threatening injury.

$250,000 offered to help fight hunger in Atlantic City

Gunshots ring out in Atlantic City, police respond to find one shot, suspect arrested

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – On October 16, 2021, patrol officers responded to the sound of gunshots and arrested a man fleeing the area who had just shot a man. At 1:47 PM, Officers Jeffrey Hannon and Daniel Arra were on patrol when they heard gunfire. They immediately headed towards the direction of the gunfire and encountered Joshua Ford who was fleeing the area with a handgun. The officers began to chase Ford who failed to stop. During the chase, Ford discarded the handgun which was later recovered. The officers apprehended Ford and he was taken into custody without further incident.

Wineland, a senior, won the Atlantic County boys race by about 100 yards in 15 minutes, 49.66 seconds in a field of 69 runners on Stockton University’s course.
