CINCINNATI, OH.- "Critical Mass" is a group exhibition, which includes work from multiple creative collectives: four women-identifying students from a local alternative educational institution; artists working within the Ohio Prison Arts Connection program, in order to connect people with art inside and outside of prisons; a group of women working through their experiences with trauma and recovery by learning new skills in storytelling and woodcutting; and an ad-hoc crew of immigrant/refugee artists and artisans led by an internationally renowned artist.

Painting by Julie Hart Beers climbs to $20,000 in Bruneau & Co online auction

CRANSTON, RI.- An oil on canvas landscape painting by Hudson River School artist Julie Hart Beers (N.J./Mass., 1835-1913), titled Summer at Mossy Brook, was one of the top lots in an online-only Estate Fine Art & Antiques auction held January 6th by Bruneau & Co. Auctioneers, fetching a robust $20,000, including the buyer’s premium. Other original artworks also did well.

Loveland Museum to showcase abstract work by artist Jennie Kiessling

Abstract artist Jennie Kiessling will be showcasing some of her works in a new exhibit at the Loveland Museum, 503 N. Lincoln Ave. The “In the Garden, In the Distance” exhibit is scheduled to open at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11 with small painted and drawn works that Kiessling created from 2017 to the present. The event will also feature a Gallery Talk by the artist from 6-7 p.m.

Camden Invincible Art Installation Unveiled Along Admiral Wilson Boulevard

In partnership with the Camden Community Partnership, the City of Camden and the Commissioner Board have installed a mural by five local artists along Admiral Wilson Boulevard that embodies the history, grit and resilience of the county seat, which is the city of Camden. The mural was designed by the different artists who were tasked with installing individual letters for the piece.
