HFC Pre-Education orientation, Sept. 24

The HFC Pre-Education program will hold its orientation virtually on Friday, Sept. 24, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. “Orientation is a meet-and-greet to introduce the Pre-Education program to students interested in pursuing teaching as a career. Let's Talk College

Do you know what it really takes to get into college? On Tuesday, September 14 and Tuesday, October 5 at 7 p.m., Erika Dietz of Guru Academic Advising will discuss college planning at the Library. This presentation will go beyond the basics and teach students and families what they can do to make their college applications stand out from the pack. Students and parents will leave with information that will empower them to tackle the process of getting into college with less stress and better results. Participants need only attend one session. Identity Development

Gossett Transition program is a MANDATORY program designed to assist ALL incoming student-athletes, first-years, and transfers, in their transition to the University of Maryland. This program is focused on developing an understanding of Maryland Athletics Gossett Student-Athlete Center services (Academic Advising, Career Readiness, Leadership Education, Tutoring Services, and more), ability to identify campus resources related to their educational path, career goals, and personal interests and understand the importance of inclusion, wellness, and bystander intervention strategies. Student-Athletes meet on the second Wednesday of every month (September-April) at 7 pm in Gossett Hall.

PT A3/CRM (Assist, Ask, Advise/Customer Relationship Management) Advise System Administrator

The A3/CRM Administrator is an integral part of the Information Technology team directly supporting academic advising and college-wide student support and success efforts. This position is responsible for the overall configuration and functionality of the college’s student success systems including A3/CRM Advise and E2E Advising. The A3/CRM Administrator provides technological expertise and assistance to ensure the College’s student success systems effectively support communication strategies for early alert and retention. The A3/CRM Administrator collaborates with the end-user teams to further develop dashboards, reports, scoring plans and initiatives, utilizing tools such as email templates, alert activities/tasks, and communication plans to maximize effectiveness. The A3/CRM Administrator reports directly to the Assistant Director of Enterprise Applications.
