Our nation has changed greatly since 1973 and the adoption of Roe versus Wade within the United States framework of America. On June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court decided that a woman’s right to an abortion, as stated back in 1973, was no longer a legal entity. Governor Newsom Signs Abortion Rights Bill

Governor Newsom is signing legislation to protect abortion rights. The Governor signed an Assembly Bill protecting California residents from civil liability for providing, aiding, or receiving abortion care in the state. A $125-million Reproductive Health Package has also been proposed to expand access and prepare for the increase of women seeking care from other states.
