One person dead after chase involving 2 stolen cars ends with crash in Syracuse, deputies say

Syracuse, N.Y. — One person is dead after crashing a stolen car in Syracuse during a pursuit with deputies overnight that started in the town of Onondaga, deputies said. Around 11:56 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to the 5000 block of Majors Drive in the town of Onondaga for reports of a burglary that occurred while a resident was at home, according to a news release from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.

Arrest made in stabbing incident that left a Syracuse man dead

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A man has been arrested by Syracuse Police in connection to a stabbing incident that took place on Reed Avenue in Syracuse on Tuesday, October 4th. Just before 12:30 PM, Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 200 block of Reed Ave. for a stabbing investigation. Upon arrival, they found 52 year-old David Reynolds of Syracuse, stabbed several times and suffering from severe injuries. Reynolds was treated on-scene before being transported to Upstate Hospital for further treatment, where he would later succumb to his injuries.

(WSYR-TV) — Syracuse Police responded to a stabbing investigation on the 200 block of Reed Avenue on Tuesday afternoon. 53-year-old David Reynolds, of Syracuse, was found with several stab wounds after being involved in an altercation and suffered severe injuries.
