VERMILION — A man driving a stolen truck sent multiple law enforcement agencies on a high-speed chase Wednesday. Just before 4 p.m., Vermilion police were called to assist Erie County deputies to pursue a stolen white Chevrolet 1500 pickup heading north on state Route 60. The truck bore the logo “KARVO” on the side and overhead lights and was originally was reported stolen in Lorain County.

Pints & Pies returning to Akron Civic Theatre

It’s the second Pints & Pies the classic theater has held. The event, which starts at 7 p.m., was held in 2019. It was not held in 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic. About 100 beers from local and out-of-state breweries will be paired with all types of pies – pizza, savory and sweet.
