City Approves Land Swap

Ste. Genevieve aldermen authorized roof repair at the firehouse and transferred some land to the Church of Ste. Genevieve during last Thursday night’s meeting. The 59.60 acres of land along Progress Parkway technically goes to the Ste. Genevieve County Catholic Church Real Estate Corporation as part of a land swap. The city will receive some vacant land the church owns, where a new subdivision can be developed.

Current storm causing downed powerline, wrecks

Due to severe thunderstorms in the area, several trees and powerlines are down currently across roads throughtout all ends of Ste.
