STAUNTON, Va. (WSVA) – A Lynchburg man is charged with a hate crime after a fight in Staunton. It was Saturday, the Staunton Police Department responded to the 100 block of Greenville Avenue for a report of a fight in progress. Multiple people involved in a gathering in the area reported an assault by a man who made statements about race prior to the assault.
