Somersworth, NH Man Escapes VA Crash on a Garbage Truck

A Somersworth man who is a registered sex offender in New Hampshire tried unsuccessfully Thursday to escape a crash scene in Virginia by hopping onto a garbage truck. The Stafford County, Virginia Sheriff's Office said William Pandolfi, 57, drove a 2018 Hyundai Sonata through a field and got stuck while going down a small embankment to get onto another road. Pandolfi, who was the only person in the car, jumped onto the passing truck but got off when the driver stopped.

Stafford man arrested on carjacking charge in Fredericksburg

Fredericksburg Police say Wednesday night about 11, the E-911 Center received a report from a woman who said a man attempted to steal her vehicle using a distraction technique. The incident occurred in the Five Guys parking lot, at 1601 Carl D. Silver Parkway. Officer Ruggiere was nearby and quickly located the suspect sitting in the driver’s seat of the victim’s car.

Breaking and Entering Suspects

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office needs its’ citizen detectives once again to help solve a recent breaking and entering. On September 24th, around 5:18 p.m. deputies responded to a residence on Hartwood Road. The resident, who was not home at the time the crime occurred, called dispatch to advise their home cameras showed multiple people breaking into the residence.
