ST. GEORGE, Utah (KUTV) — Family of a St. George police officer who lost his life to COVID-19 are sharing how his death has changed the lives of those around him. Adam Ashworth died Thursday after getting COVID-19. That led to pneumonia, a two-week stay in the ICU, and being placed in a medically induced coma. His wife, Bobbi Ann Ashworth, said their family and many in his law enforcement community weren’t worried about COVID-19, and chose not to get vaccinated. But she said now they are looking at things with a different perspective.
