Man killed Wednesday after shooting at Springfield police identified

The 38-year-old man who Springfield Township police shot and killed during an armed confrontation Wednesday morning at the man's home has been identified as Jeremy McCracken. Also, the state Bureau of Criminal Investigation, which is officially looking into the fatal shooting, said Thursday it does not believe there is body-worn camera or dash camera video from the officers directly involved in the incident. BCI, which is part of the state Attorney General's office, continues to actively investigate the incident, spokesman Steve Irwin said.
