Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center receives award for patient safety. We are grateful for our colleagues who are dedicated to putting our patients first. Recently Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, and all 13 hospitals in the HCA Virginia System, earned the top grade from The Leapfrog Group, we received an “A”. This is a really big deal, as Spotsylvania Regional is the only hospital in the Fredericksburg Region awarded this grade for meeting some of the industry’s highest patient safety standards.

Eluding Arrest

An unlicensed driver was arrested Friday after driving away from a traffic stop, contrary to the advice of the deputy. On May 13th at 11:04 p.m. Deputy J.K. Griffith conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 1 and Landmark Drive. The driver was identified as Ayasha Diamond, 39, of Spotsylvania. She was issued a summons for being unlicensed and informed she could not drive.
