Several people injured in North Spokane apartment fire

SPOKANE, Wash. — Firefighters responded to an apartment fire that left seven people injured Saturday afternoon in the 7000 block of N Colton Street. Michael Bacon, who is the Battalion Chief and Incident Commander for the Spokane Fire Department told KREM that one person was air lifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Spokane gas price survey: Cheapest station saves $0.34 per gallon

(SPOKANE, WA) Gas prices vary across in the Spokane area, but if you’re willing to head for the cheapest station, you could be saving up to $0.34 per gallon. Mobil at 3158 E 17Th Ave was the cheapest station in the area, according to a survey by GasBuddy, with regular listed at $3.15 per gallon Wednesday. By comparison, the most expensive gallon was at Chevron at 4615 N Division St, where a gallon of regular was selling for $3.49.

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Association of Realtors created a petition in order to get the City of Spokane to revise its housing action plan. On July 12, the Spokane City Council is set to vote on it's housing plan. The Spokane Association of Realtors thinks that it "is based on out-of-date housing information and will NOT adequately address the severe housing shortage we now face," according to their petition.

Daredevil Alex Harvill Dies After Crash During World-Record Motorcycle Jump Attempt

Daredevil and stuntman Alex Harvill died Thursday after crashing while attempting a world record-breaking motorcycle jump at the Moses Lake Airshow in Washington. According to Kelley Collins of KREM in Spokane, Washington, the Grant County Sheriff's Department said Harvill was transported to a hospital where he later died. The sheriff's office said the 28-year-old's family has been notified and an autopsy with be conducted Friday to confirm the cause of death.
