Prison time given in road rage case

A man charged in a Wilkesboro road rage case that occurred two years ago was sentenced to between five and seven years in prison in Wilkes Superior Court earlier this month. Alphonso Saladin Jones, 53, of Abington Court, Wilkesboro, was sentenced after he pleaded guilty to discharging a weapon into a moving vehicle and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
