Four NC teens charged with murder in shooting death of 18-year-old

WILMINGTON, N.C. — Four Wilmington teenagers were charged with murder after an 18-year-old boy died after being shot at an apartment complex. Jailin Tilghman-Deablo, of Wilmington, was shot at the 1200 block in Buckingham Avenue at around 3 p.m. on Friday. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Wilmington Police investigating shooting on Anderson Street

Southport City Manager Gordon Hargrove is the latest in a string of employees to resign from his position with the city. According to Mayor Joe Pat Hatem, Hargrove’s resignation was delivered to the board of aldermen via e-mail at 4:19 p.m. on September 20.
