It’s a good time to be selling a house in the Park City area. Plenty of people see it as an opportune moment to be buying one, as well. The Park City real estate market has continued to boom in 2021, a continuation of a record surge that started in the months after the coronavirus pandemic hit and people began flocking here for access to outdoor recreation and wide-open spaces.
Some people call it the “shoutiest debate on the internet,” and with good reason — the lack of not only affordable housing but housing in general impacts communities on a national level. The National Low Income Housing Coalition, for instance, says there is a shortage of more than 7 million affordable homes, affecting 11 million low-income families.
My guess on the price for this floor plan was spot on...base price starting at $749,900 ;) - keep in mind that this same floor plan, as you see it on the video, will be closer to the high 800s. In fact, they have a number of spec homes coming up in this neighborhood....that would definitely save you time of construction (10+ months), and offer the ability to move in faster. Now, if you're wanting to have a say on the finishes, options, and upgrades, then plan on construction time. Other than the simplicity of the master bedroom (I would definitely add an accent wall), the only other changes that I would make (my taste) to this floor plan would be: 1) No carpeting, and 2) replace the second portion of the railing for the black steel/industrial look. The living room and kitchen were truly stunning. The cathedral ceiling, and color palette in the kitchen make this configuration, one of my most favorite that I've seen recently.

Welcome to Cascade Village in beautiful Daybreak - the coolest living experience in the state of Utah, and the United States. This model home is perfectly situated across the street from the upcoming Watercourse - the 2nd water feature inside Daybreak, perfect to spend a day enjoying various water activities....paddle boarding for me. The Camden is a two-story 3 bedroom 3 bathroom townhome unit (no basement) with a base price of 390K, that offers plenty of natural light, and just the right amount of living space for a new first time home buyer, or simply, someone wanting to downgrade. Although small...or cozy...the living space utilizes every inch pretty well to offer its residents a comfortable living experience. Aesthetically pleasing, the facade is definitely fitting of a Daybreak residence. This is definitely one of the main selling points for me regarding this area. I feel that Daybreak is the only area in this Utah real estate market, that is not 'cookie cutter'.

The view and location alone, are no-brainers here. Construction in this part of Lehi has intensified in the last 10 years, and as I said, it's definitely one of my favorite areas. The area has brought a lot of attention, not only from homebuyers, but also from major corporations...i.e. the Silicon Slopes. Couple that exclusivity with some truly amazing outdoors, and proximity to all kinds of shopping, and entertainment, and you truly have one of the best living experiences in the state of Utah. The home itself is beautiful. The openness of the main living space is stunning - allowing large amounts of natural light, and perfect views of the Utah valley. The kitchen with the massive island, the uniqueness of all the lighting fixtures, and that textured ceiling in the living room with the exposed beams....perfection. The accent wall in the master bedroom plus lighting fixture stood out as well, although I do not fancy the carpet or rather small window.
