Silver Spring Teen Missing Since Saturday

Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help locating a Silver Spring teen who has been missing since Saturday. 14-year-old Clarissa Marie Del Rosario was last seen leaving the 3100 block of Hewitt Avenue at approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022, MCPD said in a news release. Del Rosario is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and approximately weighs 115 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a tank top, white pants, and shoes. She is also carrying a backpack.

Postal Worker Robbed at Gunpoint in Takoma Park

Takoma Park Police say that a postal worker was robbed at gunpoint by two suspects Thursday afternoon. “On June 30, at approximately 1:15 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7400 block of Holly Avenue for the report of an armed robbery of a mail carrier,” police spokeswoman Cathy Plevy said in a news release. “The mail carrier was delivering mail when he was approached at gunpoint by two suspects. The suspects were able to take personal property from the mail carrier and then fled on foot towards Cedar Avenue to a waiting vehicle, described as a black Sedan.”

Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help locating a Silver Spring teen who has been missing since May 28. “Loc Nguyen was last seen on Saturday, May 28, 2022, in the 11400 block of Stewart Lane,” MCPD said in a news release. “Nguyen is 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 125 pounds. Silver Spring Teen Missing Since December 23

Montgomery County Police continue to ask for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 17-year-old who has been missing since last December. “Suani Aleman-Quintero, also known as Suani Aleman, was last seen on Thursday, December 23, 2021, in the 9500 block of Ament Street in Silver Spring,” MCPD said in a news release. “She is 5 feet, 5-inches tall, and weighs approximately 160 pounds. At the time when Suani Aleman went missing, she had long black hair with red highlights and brown eyes. Aleman’s current hair color and style are unknown. Aleman-Quintero has been in contact with family and friends; however, her whereabouts are still unknown.

Thompson Hospitality has acquired local pizza chain Wiseguy Pizza, according to a report from Eater. The Reston, Va.-based restaurant group, which owns Matchbox, Milk & Honey Café, and the soon-to-open Willie T’s Seafood Shack/Be Right Burger, purchased all of Wiseguy’s locations, which include Chinatown, Navy Yard, Rosslyn, and Pentagon City, according to the report.
