BOONVILLE MAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER SET TO BE SENTENCED

A Boonville man charged with attempted murder in January of 2021 is scheduled to be sentenced. According to a Boonville Police report, on January 3, 2021, officers were dispatched to a residence to a report of shots fired. A woman told authorities Kalynn Dean Hendren pointed a rifle at her, and while wrestling over the rifle, Hendren fired one round. Officers found the spent shell casing, and the bullet fragment was located in the wall of the living room.

Man flown to University Hospital after motorcycle crash in Cole County

Cole County, Mo. (KMIZ) A 32-year-old California man was seriously hurt after a motorcycle crash in Cole County. The crash happened around 7:30 Saturday morning on Lookout Trail East of Route Z. One man seriously injured in Sedalia motorcycle crash

One man is seriously injured after his motorcycle is hit by a pickup truck in Sedalia. The Sedalia Police Department reports the collision happened Wednesday evening on Thompson Boulevard near 10th Street. Police say Treigh Wilborn was headed south on Thompson when a pickup truck, driven by Carlos Lopez, entered his path. Wilborn suffered serious injuries and taken to a local hospital by ambulance.

Woman’s Ex charged with stalking

What began as an investigation into a stolen vehicle, has resulted in a charge of stalking against a man from Syracuse Missouri. The victim reported that her vehicle was parked at her son’s girlfriend’s home in July when it went missing. When asked who might have taken the car, she said it may have been her ex, later identified as 37-year-old Brandon Evans Tate. The victim said that she had been receiving threatening messages and voice mails from Tate, including claiming that he was going to beat her up and beat her husband up. According to paperwork filed with the courts, the officer claims that Tate poses a danger to the victim because he threatened to find the victim’s home address and inflict bodily harm on her and her husband. Tate is charged with one count of stalking and a warrant was issued for his arrest, with a bond of $50-thousand-dollars surety.

Sedalia Police Reports For September 23, 2022

This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department reports. Wednesday evening, Sedalia Police responded to an injury accident on Thompson Boulevard near West 10th Street. A preliminary investigation revealed a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, driven by Carlos Lopez, entered onto Thompson Boulevard to make a northbound turn from a private drive. The pickup drove into the path of a 2009 Harley Davidson Night Train that was travelling southbound on Thompson Boulevard. The driver of the Harley Davidson was identified as Treigh Wilborn. Wilborn sustained serious injuries from the impact and was transported from the scene by ambulance. The pickup had damage to the left rear side. The motorcycle had extensive damage. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

The City of Sedalia’s contractor will be milling, repairing base failures, paving and applying lane markings along Thompson Boulevard from the Missouri Department of Transportation’s right-of-way at West Broadway Boulevard (U.S. 50 Highway) to West 16th Street. The work is scheduled to take place from Monday, October 3 through Wednesday, October 26.
