WYOMISSING, PA — Investigators with the Wyomissing Police Department need the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in passing counterfeit cash in Berks County. Authorities state that on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at approximately 5:30 pm, the pictured males passed several $100 counterfeit bills in various stores in Berkshire Square Shopping Center. They possibly left in an electric blue-colored vehicle.

Cops Rammed By Vehicle During Two State Chase, I-95 Shutdown

Initial reports indicate that sometime before 3:00 today Chester County Police attempted to stop a dark-colored sedan, however, the sedan fled from the officer. During the chase, the vehicle reportedly struck several Chester County Police vehicles. Delaware County Officers were then notified and asked to assist. Minutes later authorities notified Delaware State Police that the chase had crossed the state line.

Suspects Sought In Lancaster Assault

LANCASTER – Lancaster Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects in an assault investigation. On July 8, officers responded to the first block of S. Water Street and spoke to a male victim, who was assaulted by six males at about 6:45 p.m. near his residence. The 42-year-old victim sought immediate medical attention and was treated for a fractured arm and other injuries consistent with a physical assault. The victim said he was approached by the suspects, who struck him, knocked him to the ground, then proceeded to kick him, causing the injuries. The suspects then fled on foot. Police obtained video footage of subjects believed to have been involved. You can see the suspects below. Ringtown man jailed on arson, threat charges

MAHANOY CITY — A Ringtown man was jailed after he lit a fire inside the Mahanoy Township home of his estranged girlfriend Monday night, police allege. Raymond D. Miller Jr., 51, of 102 Jerrys Road, was charged by Mahanoy Township police Patrolman Matthew Williams with one felony count each of arson-inhabited buildings or structures and causing or risking a catastrophe, along with a misdemeanor count of terroristic threats.

Area Drug/Human Trafficking Ring Nabbed

HARRISBURG – State Police filed charges against three people connected to a drug distribution and human trafficking ring operating in and around Reading, Berks County. 50-year-old Hector Rivera and 31-year-old Dushawn Ellis, both from Reading, and 36-year-old Bridget Thompson of Lancaster were charged with various crimes related to corrupt organizations, trafficking individuals, prostitution, and other offenses. The three were involved in trafficking young women for the commercial sex trade. Thompson was responsible for posting advertisements and communicating with customers while Rivera and Ellis utilized drugs to lure some of the victims into prostitution and then control them.
