SCE has added the Energy, Morganstein, Tapo, and Twin Lakes circuits to the list that may be shut off during the PSPS event window. This expands the affected areas to include: along Tapo Canyon Road (north and south of Alamo Street), and south of the 118 Freeway, east to the Los Angeles County line; and additional areas west of Madera Road along Tierra Rejada Road and Los Angeles Avenue (affected areas are shaded in blue above).

The Simi Valley Police Department hosted its quarterly Police Community Forum on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 on Zoom. The topic for this forum was Traffic Stops. Chief David Livingstone's presentation covered the categories of law enforcement vehicle pullovers, summarized the difference between standard traffic enforcement and investigative vehicle pullovers, and provided information on what to do if residents are pulled over. At the conclusion of the presentation, community members had the opportunity to submit questions related to the presentation, which were answered by Department staff. The public is invited to view a recording of the forum on the City of Simi Valley's YouTube page.

The City of Simi Valley’s Youth Employment Service Advisory Board and the Boys and Girls Club of Moorpark and Simi Valley invite you to attend the fourth annual Volunteer Fair. In response to the statewide drought emergency, the City has adopted a Level 2 Water Supply Shortage condition calling for mandatory conservation actions. Beginning November 1, 2021, City/Waterworks customers are required to follow a two-day/week watering schedule, based on street address. The two watering days per week are Sunday and Wednesday for property addresses ending in even numbers, and Tuesday and Saturday for properties ending in odd numbers.
