Bay Area cyber insurance startup At-Bay joins unicorns with $185M funding

At-Bay Inc. on Tuesday said it raised $185 million at a $1.35 billion valuation to help expand its cyber insurance business as ransomware attacks proliferate. The company led by CEO Rotem Iram was previously valued at about $324 million after raising another round about seven months ago, according to PitchBook Data. It started in Mountain View, where it still has an office, and moved its headquarters to San Francisco last year during the pandemic.
