Olive “Ollie” Hoffmann, age 99, of Town of Pella, Shawano County, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at The Cottages on Golden Pond Memory Care, Shawano. The former Olive Ethel Breitenfeldt was born on March 4, 1921 at home in the Town of Grant to Harry and Margaret (Sousek) Breitenfeldt. She was baptized on April 17, 1921 at Zion Lutheran Church in Caroline by Pastor Wegner and confirmed on July 7, 1935 by Pastor Reuben Stubenvoll. She was united in marriage on June 15, 1946 to Harold E. Hoffmann at Zion Lutheran Church, Caroline.

Two Appleton Residents Killed in a Weekend Crash in Shawano County

The name of one of the two Appleton residents who were killed in a weekend crash in Shawano County has been released. According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, 36-year-old Adam J. Brown was driving his motorcycle south on Highway 47 near Highline Road in the Town of Hartland just after noon on Saturday (June 5th) when he struck the back end of a truck.

1 of 2 victims in fatal motorcycle crash identified

Police have identified one of two people killed in a weekend motorcycle crash in Shawano County that involved a pickup and minivan. According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, 36-year-old Adam J. Brown of Appleton was driving a 1985 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he struck the back of a southbound 2002 Ford Ranger. His passenger, a 13-year-old boy from Appleton, was also killed. The boy has not been identified due to his age, according to the State Patrol.

Motorcyclist killed in Shawano County crash identified

SHAWANO COUNTY (WLUK) -- The Wisconsin State Patrol has identified one of the victims in Saturday's crash in Shawano County near Bonduel. The deceased 36-year-old man from Appleton that was operating the motorcycle involved in the crash was identified as Adam Jason Brown. The 13-year-old passenger, who also died in the crash, has not been identified due to being a minor.

BONDUEL - An Appleton man and teenager died early Saturday afternoon when a motorcycle crashed with two other vehicles in Shawano County, authorities said. The 36-year-old was southbound on State 47 with a 13-year-old passenger shortly after noon when he struck the rear of a pickup truck and crossed into the northbound lane where the motorcycle collided with a minivan, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.
