Rain and shine! Boots & Roots Rodeo packs ‘em in again this year

The Donalsonville-Seminole County Chamber of Commerce’s fifth annual Boots & Roots Rodeo, held this past Friday and Saturday, April 23 and 24 at the Chris Thomas Arena, was a rip-roaring success – despite Saturday’s flooding rains and high winds. The annual rodeo is a rain or shine event; however, the rain part had never been put to the test until this year. The first class, fully covered Thomas arena graciously made available each year by Chris and Kay Thomas, kept everything high and dry, and right on schedule for the show to go on with weather interruption.
