1 hurt after being struck by vehicle in Sebastian; Roseland Road reopen

SEBASTIAN — One person was injured after being struck by a vehicle in a crash that closed northbound Roseland Road Tuesday, sheriff’s officials said. The wreck happened in the evening on Roseland Road near Collier Club Drive, just southwest of the Sebastian Municipal Airport, Indian River County sheriff’s officials said. The injured person was taken to Health First’s Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne.

Shortly thereafter, her family relocated to Tampa, Florida, where she lived throughout her childhood. She graduated from Plant High School, Tampa, where among her many activities, she was a member of the cheerleading squad.
