Governors Girls Host Yankton

Two statement wins over the last week on the road and now the Governor girls return home to face the Yankton Gazelles tonight in an ESD contest. The Governors remain number three in the standings heading into the weekend as Pierre takes on Yankton who is outside of the SoDak 16 currently at 1-10. The Gazelles dropped its first eight games of the season before defeating Roosevelt and have now dropped back to back games heading into tonight. While the Governors will drop in their seed point average regardless of the outcome of the game, the Govs need a win to try and keep pace up top the standings.
