Very warm start to the weekend

Saturday will be very hazy, hot and humid as temperatures will soar into the low-to-mid 90s. With this comes heat advisories for parts of the Twin Tiers. These counties are Chemung, Schuyler, Tompkins and Tioga(NY). Heat index values will rise to at least 95 degrees in these counties. The advisory goes into affect starting at noon and lasts until 7 PM Saturday evening. Avoid doing an strenuous activities during this time and drink plenty of fluids.
