Black Widow has fared reasonably well in movie theaters, all things considered. It’s grossed about $157 million in the United States, and over $320 million worldwide. That does rank among the lowest box-office totals ever for a Marvel Cinematic Universe film (currently only The Incredible Hulk is lower). But given that movie theaters have barely recovered from extended closures due to the Covid pandemic — which is far from over — those numbers are fairly impressive.

How Dusty Hill Avoided Becoming a ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll A–hole’

ZZ Top's Dusty Hill said that a late-'70s stint as an airport worker helped keep him from turning into "a rock 'n' roll asshole." Exhausted from years of nonstop touring and recording, ZZ Top took what was initially supposed to be a 90-day break in 1977. The hiatus instead extended to two years, during which Hill and bandmate Billy Gibbons independently grew their trademark chest-length beards.

‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Figures Show the Original Cast Back in Their Classic Costumes

A few hours after the new Ghostbusters: Afterlife trailer arrived online — complete with teases of appearances by original cast members Dan Aykroyd and Annie Potts — Hasbro shared the first photos of their upcoming Plasma Series action figures from the movie. The figures continue a line that started with toys of the original Ghostbusters cast in their costumes from the first movie, and show the new characters from Afterlife like Mckenna Grace’s Phoebe and Finn Wolfhard’s Trevor suited up in miniature versions of the old khaki ghostbusting jumpsuits. They also shows the three surviving original Ghostbusters back in costume for the first time (at least in toy form).

Neal Schon Confirms Deen Castronovo Is Back in Journey

Journey guitarist Neal Schon has confirmed on social media that former drummer Deen Castronovo has rejoined the band. Schon confirmed Castronovo's return in a series of Facebook comments below a San Francisco Chronicle story about Journey, which he shared on Wednesday. One fan commented on the post, "So is Deen Castronovo back in the band full time now?" to which Schon responded simply, "Yes."

The ‘Die Hard’ Prequel Was Killed By the Disney/Fox Merger

Apparently the sixth Die Hard movie is dead. RIP Die Hard 6. You died as you lived. Dying hard. The most recent Die Hard film, A Good Day to Die Hard opened in theaters in 2013. Then Fox reportedly started developing a sort of hybrid prequel and sequel, one that would feature Bruce Willis, but also feature a young John McClane and showing an origin story for the character. The movie was talked about for years; the last update about it on ScreenCrush was published in 2018.

Disney Parks To Require Face Masks Again as COVID Cases Surge

Walt Disney World and Disneyland will once again require face masks in certain areas of the parks as COVID-19 cases continue to increase throughout the country. According to Orlando Sentinel, Orange County, Florida is averaging 1,000 new coronavirus cases daily. Local hospital AdventHealth's ICU is full due to the rise in cases. Meanwhile, in California, the Delta Variant has become the state's dominant strain.

Like I said, the Twin Ports has every business we could ever want for the most part. We have amazing restaurants, shops, specialty stores and that doesn't even scratch the surface. Disneyland and Disney World to Require Masks Indoors Again

With Covid cases rising once again in many parts of the country, and the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention revising its guidance for mask-wearing, both of Disney’s American theme parks will once again require guests to wear masks indoors at all times. The new rules go into effect at both Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida on Friday, July 30.
